Telehealth is having a consultation with a healthcare provider by phone or video call.

You can make a Telehealth appointment where the doctor will ring you on the phone or initiate a video consultation and see to your needs. Telehealth and face-to-face appointments are treated as the same hence the same bookings, fees and cancellation policy apply.
All Telehealth consultations are withing 1-hour of appointment.
1. Please make sure your details are up to date on our system, especially your contact phone number and email address.
2. For Telephone consultations, please make sure you phone is adequately charged and not on silent. If it is a little bit after your scheduled appointment time, you don’t need to call us, please be patient with us as we will call you shortly.
For over-the-phone consultations, doctor will call you within 1 hour of your appointment time.
3. For Video consultations, please make sure you phone or device is adequately charged and not on silent. We will send you a link directly via SMS or email. Please click on the link and run a “Precall Test” prior to your appointment time (instructions below).
4. We can send you your prescription via E-Tokens directly to your mobile
5. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require minimum of 2 hours notice so we can give your appointment to someone else. DNA policy applies.

Patient will receive notification from HDA: “Please tap on the link below to start a Video Call with your health service provider at the time of your appointment. https://videocall.direct/caseygatemedicalcentre”
Please click on the link sent, then click on “Run a Test Call” which is near “Start video call” button. The layout of where the button appear varies depending on the device you’re using. You will only need to do this once, subsequent consultations are as simple as clicking a button.
A separate page will open explaining what the Precall Test does then click on START TEST button. Allow all permissions for camera and microphone. When test is complete this window need to be closed.
At the time of your consultation you can then click on “START A VIDEO CALL” button which will bring you into our digital waiting room ready for the doctors to initiate the video call.

Please note: ALL ONLINE BOOKINGS will be treated as Telehealth consultation bookings only. You can book online anytime and if you wish to change it to a face-to-face appointment please call 87865955.
If the matter is urgent, please let reception staff know the general nature of the urgency so that your call can be dealt with appropriately. You may be directed to the nearest Priority Primary Care Centre or other emergency services.
For non urgent advice, patients are asked to make a Telehealth appointment or see their doctor in person.
Please note the doctors will not be able to take non urgent phone calls from a patient during consultations. It is important to keep interruptions to a minimum. Please provide best contact number so a nurse or doctor can return your call as soon as they are able to do so
