Fees and Billings
This is a mixed billing practice, although we generally bulk bill patients with a valid Medicare card for standard consultations Monday through Friday, please note a small out of pocket fee may remain after return of Medicare rebate on the weekends and public holidays. Pensioners or health care card holders and children under 16 years old are always bulk billed. Other consultations and patients without a Medicare cards will attract a private fee, please speak with receptionist prior to your appointment.
Certain procedures and administrative requests do attract a fee and you will be advised at time of booking or consultation.
Fees are due in full and payable at the time of consultation. Where a patient may be eligible for a Medicare rebate it is refunded to the patient on the day to the account registered with Medicare.
We accept cash, credit card and EFTPOS payments (bank surcharge applies)
Work Cover and TAC Claims
All new applications are given a claim number, in order for us to be able to invoice WorkSave Victoria (WorkCover) or Transport Accident Comminssion (TAC) directly, we required a letter of acceptance of the claim. In the absense of an accepted claim or where a claim can not be successfully processed online, the patient is required to pay for their visit on the day and claim it back from the correct organisation themselves.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please speak to your doctor at the time of your consultation.
